On Thursday, October 22, I preached in chapel at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. It was my first chapel sermon since the home going of my wife, Sherri. The text is 2 Corinthians 12:7-10.
During her 3 year and 9 month battle with cancer, Sherri learned to depend upon God’s grace. She discovered that it truly is sufficient.
As I watched her enlist her suffering for the glory of God, I was amazed at the dazzling greatness and comfort of God’s grace. This sermon shares some of the lessons God taught my wife and me during our journey.
Sometimes in our prayer, God refuses to give us what we ask in order to give us what we need.

My deepest sympathies to you, my dear brother. I will listen later but knowing you I am sure the challenge will be clear. May our God bless you and hold you close!
In His Love,
Dennis
My condolences Dr. Allen.
I pray the Lord will comfort you and give you grace to press on!
